Ive been on the list for a few months now, and have read many stories about ecu's, what does what and how, as well as read many classifieds on them for sale. The only thing that confuses me is, why do people selling them say "ecu programmed for sport 555 injectors" and such? ?
Lets say, if my buddy were to get an ecu for his 1994 z and he had a different amount of mods than I do, if he gave the whole ecu to me, would it work properly in my 1994? Every time one gets an ecu, do you have to have it programmed specifically as to what mods you have? If so, what do you do when you get more mods?
Im just in need of some ecu basics here...its nearing the point where im going to want one=) Thanks all
